Website Upgraded and more: Long overdue! Our goals are coming together step by step. We have upgraded our website https://nvgreenparty.org to unlock new features. The changes are to ensure a smooth and safe viewing experience for all. If you have suggestions to integrate content or design to add value to our website, please email us: nvgreenparty@gmail.com.
May was our first meeting with our Zoom subscription. We are looking to lock down our sites for heightened security without excluding our members from participating. Watch our social media sites for meeting times and links. Transparency is our focus.
Donate Button Live/Membership: The Donate Button is Live! Right now we are working on the membership options as $5.00 a month or pay $50.00 for the whole year, to assist with the costs of our Website. Zoom Membership (for meetings), future mailings and campaigns. As a grassroots party everyone’s contributions are essential since we do not have the ‘big’ donors. We don’t want the big donors in the Nevada State Green Party, because of the leash yanking to do big donor bidding conflicts, with GPNV representing ‘We the People’, One Person One Vote and the Nevada State Green Party Platform.
NVSOS Registration Video/PAC: There is no surprise to the fact that our NVSOS site has made signing up for the Nevada State Green Party a multiple step maze! Daniel Alves is creating a long overdue video on how to get to where you need to go to register as a Nevada State Green Party voter. A video will relieve some confusion about registering as a voter in the Nevada State Green Party for new and old registered voters.
Our eyes are wide open to the NPP voters numbering 447735. We can only wonder how many are not registered with the Nevada State Green Party, due to the multiple steps to reach the correct entry area online. Just 4%= 17909 NPP re-registering correctly with the Green Party, would give us automatic Ballot Access. Strap on your shoes or slide on your sandals, if there are 20% hidden Nevada State Green Party members in the NPP, that can give us 5% for the additional State and Federal funding! 447735 x 0.20= 89547. Anyone that says the Democrats 648758 and Republicans 566998 are the only two valid parties should review the numbers too: https://www.nvsos.gov/sos/home/showpublisheddocument?id=9395
As we work towards ballot access by Registered Voters and future petitions options, we are in the process of completing our PAC requirements with the SOS. PAC stands for Political Action Committee, do not confuse it with big donor PACs. Most states require all political parties to be a PAC. The GPNV will not confuse this one!

LGBTQIA: The Nevada State Green Party FULLY supports the LGBTQIA community. We are working hard to eliminate any written structures/laws/rules that discriminate based on sexual identification, orientation, recognition, limitation and classification. If you see anything within the GPNV which might contradict our inclusive policy, email us immediately! If you would like to be a voice please contact us. Currently GPNV is working with our National Accreditation Committee, to ensure GPNV and all other states are consistent in representing LGBTQIA equally.
Internship/Volunteer: Internships! Are you interested? We are looking for interns to work with our future voters! Our programs will be a mix of writing and voter interaction. If you are in high school or college we are looking for the following types of studies to participate:
Political Science
Sociology
Journalism Current Affairs
Communications Media Interactions
Network Applications and Participation
Graphic Design /Art /Web
Not in school or college and you just want to write or participate in events? Volunteer! You can select one of the Internship elections to focus on or let us know if we missed out on what interests you!
Join us at our next GPNV meeting on Saturday June 19, 2021 at 7 p.m.

The Green Party platform is not just politics, the Green Party is a Philosophy to ensure responsible existence on Earth. Be proud to be a Green Party member and let others know they don’t have to follow the duopoly or disenfranchise themselves with NPP as only choices. The more numbers they bring into specific parties like the Green Party the more political parties will have to follow the will of the people.
