1. Anyone 18 years of age or older may collect Ballot Access Petition Signatures.

2. Anyone signing the Ballot Access Petition must be a resident of Nevada and must have voted in the last election.

3. All document packets must consist of 100 Ballot Access Petition Signatures or less.

4. All document packets must be stapled together.

5. All document packets must be notarized by the Ballot Access Petition
     signature gatherer, using a duly authorized Notary, by a Nevada Green Party representative.

6. All document packets must be turned into a duly recognized Nevada Green Party representative.

7. Our Ballot Access Petition Drive ends on Monday May 10th, 2024.

We love when more people come to our meetings! They used to be casual and now they have to be a little more formal to avoid chaos. More voices, more choices!

Tabling and Canvassing
We discussed tabling at different events in CD 1, CD 2, CD 3, and CD 4. The itinerary will be published via the Nevada Green Rhythm and the Newsletter. We will be asking for volunteers to come sit with us at the tables and help us to gain Ballot Access signatures, as well as register voters, with the Green Party and we will have swag! We’re going to take our new tent and banner, all over the state of Nevada. Though don’t be surprised if you see Green Party Canvassers, out to gather signatures. Member Artwork and Information
We are also currently working on a tri-fold pamphlet, which can be printed at home, featuring GPNV member artwork and information, to be handed out or left on the counter of your favorite hang-out. Spread the news!

Nevada Online Voter Registration Update
In other news, the Nevada Online Voter Registration website has been updated! Now when you decide to change your registration, after you have filled out all your other information and get to the online page, you will find “Green Party” listed in the drop-down menu. Since it’s in alphabetical order, we are number 2 on the drop-down list!

To my fellow citizens:

My name is Luke Stella and I am the Founder of a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit called HeroHouse. My company is primarily concerned with providing safe sober environments for folks to rehabilitate from drug and alcohol addiction. We give priority to U.S. Veterans who have slipped through the cracks of our faulty VA system.

In the past 4 decades it has become apparent that it is incumbent upon local nonprofits, charitable foundations, and citizen activist groups to assume the mantle of responsibility and pick up the slack left by ineffective, underfunded, government bureaucracies regarding the care of our citizens and communities. Never has this modern reality been more clearly demonstrated than in these last few election cycles. We have people living under every bridge in America, yet administrations both Democrat and Republican alike, send 100 billion dollars off to countries like Ukraine and Israel to help subsidize their universal healthcare systems, while back at home we are told comprehensive healthcare is too expensive. It would be humorous if it weren’t so tragic.

I was excited to join The Green Party as a volunteer and register to vote Green after Dr. Cornell West announced he would be running for President of The United States of America, as a Green Party Candidate. The Green Party has been combating government shortfalls and malfeasance, as has Dr. West for many, many years. I feel as though our values align perfectly and I look forward to effecting positive change by promoting their platform. This is our last best chance to put forth a candidate that is ultimately qualified and up to the task at hand. Join us!!
